Trip Introduction
On Everest Namche Trek (8 days) we experience astounding mountain views, get glimpses of the life of the world-famous mountain climbers (the Sherpas), enter Sagarmatha National Park, a world heritage site and tour high altitude Buddhist monasteries. Trekking to the Everest Namche trek of Nepal also provides us an opportunity to embark on an epic journey that Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay set off to in 1953.
Our staff will guide us to all the way and other Himalayas. Nothing beats the thrill and sense of accomplishment that grips hikers on seeing the power and grace of the mighty mountain up close.
The 8-day Everest Namche Trek itinerary is designed for beginner trekkers who are in good health with average physical fitness. The ample distance covered between daily itineraries, a steady gain of altitude and separate rest days ensures that we are properly acclimatized to fully enjoy our trek to the Everest Namche trek.
But, if you wish to take up a bigger challenge and “stay off the beaten path”, then Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek (16-Days) would be ideal.

Those wishing a private room throughout the trek will be served on request and will cost an additional USD $320 USD. Infuse the Planet will arrange rooms with attached bathrooms; however, teahouses in some places only have shared washing and toilet facilities. Also, note that single rooms are readily available in Kathmandu and the trekking regions at a lower elevation but it might be difficult to find them at higher elevations.
Meals
All meals will be provided during trekking while only breakfast will be available in Kathmandu. There will also be welcome and farewell dinners for guests. While on the trek, we have breakfast and dinner in the tea-houses/lodges we spend the night and lunch on our way to the next destination. Nepalese, Tibetan, the more common continental, and Indian cuisines are common choices in the menu.
Physical Condition & Experience Requirements
Everest Namche Trek (8 days) is a moderate to advanced trek. Travelers who can walk up to 6-7 hours a day on an uphill and downhill trail will find this trek fulfilling. It is best that we prepare ourselves for the Everest trek by walking, hiking, jogging and exercising regularly at least five to six months prior to the start of the trek.
Trekking to the Everest Base Camp should be relatively easier for those who have experience walking/trekking in a high-altitude environment. Past hiking experience would be an asset, but no technical skill is required for this trip. It is also important that we consult our doctor. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions such as heart, lung, and blood diseases should inform Infuse the Planet prior to booking this trekking adventure.
Best Time to Travel
The best time to trek to the Everest Base Camp is Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November). The temperature is moderate in these seasons and guarantees amazing views through the trip. Although this trek can be undertaken during winter, the cold temperature might not be suitable for everyone.
